A House of HOPE

Children

The Children’s Ministry of TABC seeks to help children realize their potential in Christ and challenges them to grow into a deeper relationship with Him by showing them who Jesus is in EVERYTHING we do. We desire that every child who comes through our doors knows at least two things when they leave: God loves them (and we do too!) and God has a special plan and purpose for their life.

Rotation Sunday School  is a Biblically based, God-centered curriculum designed for children K5-6th grade.  Each class is age graded, however, each class rotates through a different training station each week for four weeks in a row.  Each training station is shaped to hit one of the learning styles (Oral, Visual, Kinetic).  So, by the end of the month, each child will have heard the same story in three different ways, plus an answer & question (Rabbinical style) finishing fourth lesson.  By the time the student does through each year of our curriculum, they will have an understanding of Biblical principles and precepts that we have found unrivaled by traditional Sunday School.  They will know their Bible!!!

AWANA is a great way for kids to learn God’s Word through scripture memorization. Each week kids are challenged and encouraged to hide God’s Word in their hearts. *Meets at 6:00 PM during the school year.   During summer break we offer FUNdamentals (key word FUN!) at 6:30PM.

KPG is our Kid’s Praising God Choir. During KPG children will be encouraged to serve the Lord through the different gifts and abilities that God has given each of them specifically. Whether they be a great singer, an inspiring actor, or a gifted communicator, there is a place for them in KPG.

TABC Children's Rec. League  is a modified recreational basketball program for grades K5 – 6th grade.   This is for boys and girls who are not playing any other organized league basketball.  It’s purpose is to teach the skills and drills of basketball, as well as team work, character, and self-esteem through healthy competition, all in a Christian environment.   Click here for more information and the registration form.
